Tough Enough To Wear Pink?
An event to promote Breast Cancer Awareness
The Concept of tough cowboys wearing pink might sound funny, but that is what makes Tough Enough to Wear Pink so special. Pink is the color to wear if you are a cowboy, cowgirl or rodeo fan to show support for breast cancer research. In the Twin Ports, wearing pink is also an opportunity to recognize the over 200,000 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer in the United States in this year. Are you tough enough?
The Tough Enough To Wear Pink campaign first came to light on 2005 at the Wrangler National Finals, when one evening of competition was devoted to the cause.
Pink symbolizes courage, strength and determination. Take a "tough stance" on breast cancer. Wear pink on August 30, 2013 at the Great Northern Classic Rodeo to show your support. Also, visit the breast cancer awareness booth and check out the great items for sale and register for some raffle items.
For more information about the event or to make a donation for the cause, contact the Rodeo at 715-817-6336 or 218-428-6600. The 22st Annual Great Northern Classic Rodeo will be held at: the Head of the Lakes Fairgrounds in Superior, Wisconsin.
